Anemone leveillei is a pretty woodland windflower. It forms mounds of deeply serrated, rough or slightly hairy foliage, from which white-pink flowers with a central cluster of purple-blue anthers appears in early summer. It’s perfect for growing in the woodland border and looks fantastic when planted in large groups.
Grow Anemone leveillei in moist soil in partial to full shade. Mulch annually with well-rotted manure or leaf mould. Divide congested clumps in spring.
