Nicotiana sylvestris is a tall tobacco plant bearing elegant, long, white slim drooping flowers with an intense fragrance. It makes an aristocratic statement at the back of a lightly shaded or sunny border. It also works well in large cotainers and makes a wonderful cut flower.

Grow Nicotiana sylvestris in moist but well-drained soil in full sun to partial shade. Cut flowers regularly to prolong blooming. The Royal Horticultural Society has given it its prestigious Award of Garden Merit (AGM).
